About Kericrest Drops

A Garden Estate water plant under new ownership, rebuilt around service.

Kericrest Drops is the new identity of an established water plant at Garden Estate, Nairobi. The plant, its equipment and its customers came under new ownership in 2026, and the brand was rebuilt from the name up — a new identity replacing the former Wave Drop Signature branding, renewed discipline around the treatment process, and a service standard the previous arrangement did not consistently reach.

It is locally owned and run. That means when something goes wrong you are talking to the people who can actually fix it, and when we say we will be there on Thursday we have to face you on Friday if we were not. Small businesses live or die on that, and we would rather build slowly on it than grow fast without it.

What we are changing

A brand you can hold to account

New name, new identity, and one number that reaches the people who can fix things.

Tighter quality discipline

Stronger record-keeping around treatment and container handling, and the compliance paperwork completed properly.

Communication that works

Ordering by WhatsApp, confirmation before we set off, and an answer when you call.

More ways to buy

Smaller retail bottles, branded event water, and standing orders for homes and offices.

Who runs it

Mary Thande Owner and Director

Mary Thande, owner and director of Kericrest Drops, is focused on building a dependable, customer-centred purified-water service for homes, businesses and the wider community. She took on an existing plant rather than starting from nothing, because water is an everyday necessity with repeat demand — and because a business you see the inside of is one you can actually improve.

Where we are going

In five years we want Kericrest Drops to be a recognised Nairobi water brand supplying homes, offices, retailers and events, with retail bottles on the shelf and a distribution network dependable enough to grow beyond Nairobi. That is the direction. Getting the next delivery right is how we get there.

What we hold to

Cleanliness

The process is the product. Shortcuts in a water plant are not shortcuts, they are risks.

Straightforwardness

We say what we can do and what we cannot yet do. You will not find claims here we cannot stand behind.

Reliability

Turning up when we said we would is most of the job. The rest is water.

Care

Customers are neighbours here. We would like to still be serving them in ten years.
